Issue
Unable to upload capture data to Smart Construction Quick3D
Examples
・Capture data exists within the Pix4D catch app but cannot be transferred to the Smart Construction Quick3D app.
・The Pix4D catch app displays the login screen and does not proceed
・The process remains stuck on “Upload error” or “Waiting for upload” and does not advance
Cause
1) It might be attempting to upload directly by opening the Pix4D Catch app.
2) The Smart Construction Quick3D app and Pix4D Catch app are not updated to the latest versions. Or the iOS version on your device is outdated.
3) Too many images were captured.
4) Uploading to the server has temporarily failed due to network conditions or other factors.
How to deal
1) If you attempt to upload directly by opening the Pix4D catch app, you will not be able to upload to Smart Construction Quick3D.
Please close all apps (end all tasks) first, then open the Smart Construction Quick3D app and proceed to the capture screen.
Please refer to the steps explained below.
If you wish to upload SfM-processed data to a different site again
2) If the versions of the Smart Construction Quick3D app and the Pix4D Catch app are outdated, uploads may fail. Please update both apps to the latest version.
Additionally, please ensure the iOS version on your device is also updated to the latest version.
3) The recommended number of photos is approximately 800 or fewer for iPhone and approximately 1000 or fewer for iPad.
Exceeding the recommended number may prevent successful upload.
Please verify that the shooting area is not too large and falls within the recommended range.
Shooting within the recommended range should generally prevent exceeding the recommended photo count.
Refer to the user manual for details on the recommended range and shooting methods.

4) Uploads to the server may temporarily fail due to network conditions or other factors.
In such cases, please try re-uploading.
(If your internet connection is unstable, please try again after moving to a location with stable connectivity or switching to a more stable network.)
For re-upload instructions, please see here.
