Uploading after taking a picture is not completed or upload error occurs

Issue

After taking a picture,

・Uploading to the server (Smart Construction Quick3D) is not completed.

・Upload error occurs.

Cause

1) Excessive number of images taken, e.g., more than about 800 to 1,000 images.

2) Unstable Internet environment

3) The versions of Smart Construction Quick3D and PIX4Dcatch apps on the device are out of date. Or the version of iOS on the terminal is old.

How to deal

1) The recommended number of shots is about 800 or less for iPhone and about 1000 or less for iPad. If you take more than 800 shots, the application may crash after pressing the SfM button.

Please make sure that the shooting range is not too wide and that it is within the recommended shooting range.

If you shoot within it, we assume that the number of shots will rarely exceed the recommended number.

Please refer to the instruction manual for the recommended shooting range and shooting method.

2) Uploading may fail if the Internet connection is unstable or temporarily interrupted.

Please connect to a stable Wi-Fi connection or switch to another stable Internet connection if available, and try again.

3) If the versions of Smart Construction Quick3D and PIX4Dcatch apps on the device used for shooting are out of date, uploading may not be possible. Please try again with the latest version.

If your device has an older version of iOS, the latest version of the app may not appear in the APP store.
If the iOS version is old, please upgrade the iOS version first.
